My love and passion for technology started in 8th grade when I decided I wanted to try and build my first computer. After I put it together and started it for the first time I was hooked.
I graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Chapman University in Orange County. I minored in Data Analytics which is fueled by my love for math and its intersection with technology. While at Chapman, I served on the Dean's Engineering Advisory Panel at Chapman where we developed the newly founded Fowler School of Engineering.
One of my most enriching projects as an undergrad was when I had the opportunity to participate in a series of courses on problem solving, critical thinking, communication and teamwork in the sciences. As a part of this program, I lead a small team of students that developed a drone system to deploy relief supplies to victims of natural disasters. Read about it here.
As a senior software engineer at Veranex (previously Fusion Biotec), we specialized in rapid prototyping of medical devices, mainly in the diagnostics realm. I focused on full-stack Application development, cloud integrations, and cybersecurity solutions. Day-to-day, I enjoyed mentoring other engineers and interfacing with clients on a number of projects. Leading 10 engineers, I was able to deliver a cloud platform for aggregating, analyzing, and viewing patient data through a mobile app connected to a wearable, web app and backend infrastructure with a quick turn around of three months. This resulted in Veranex's first published app on the app store!
